So I spent much of Tuesday hopping up and down and doing happy dances...I got the job interview I really wanted. Its not too far away in downtown Decatur (yes, such a thing exists) and I'm hoping it goes well. I'm also trying not to get too sloshed right now so I'll remember that all of this is happening in the morning.
Don't really have a lot to talk about today. The apt complex I'm in right now is quite whack though. The HVAC has been blowing cold air to regulate itself instead of just cutting off when it gets warm enough in the apt, like normal HVAC systems do, which keeps the damn thing on all day. It got to be a problem last night and today though, because it just wouldn't blow out warm air at all. Then the power went out right after we got it to blow warm air again, and it would never start back. The maintenance guy comes and pulls the thing that keeps it running out of it and says we wont get one until tomorrow morning. Luckily, the lady in the office quickly recognized the level of pissation in my mother's voice (a feat that I think only women of color can achieve) and promptly came with two space heaters. We hook em up, and quickly realize that we can't have more than on one circuit breaker for them to continue working properly. Yaay. We route one from the kitchen to the living room, one from the living room to my room, and mom already had one in her room. Its so beautiful *chokes on sarcasm*.
I have a new PSN friend, yippee! More people should have PS3's. The benefits of a PS3 outweigh the ones of the XBox 360, hands down, especially if you have an HDTV, but I understand. Especially if you like playing games online with a good system to keep track of all that. Still. The PS3 is awesome.
So the plan, however non-feasible it is, is to be out of here no later than the end of March, in my own place, somewhere between downtown Atlanta and downtown Decatur. I probably wont me able to afford a bed and couches and stuff like I want, but hey, an air mattress will do for a while. But, all this means I need to ROCK this interview tomorrow. I think I need to go ahead and go so I can finish my hair and suit and get some pampering in so I'm all beautiful tomorrow. I really don't have to go to bed early, the interview is at 10, but I'm thinking of getting on Wii Fit in the morning before I go. We'll see.
Wish me luck!
G'Night.
