On November 26, 2010 at 10:05 pm, my mother passed away from a (more than likely much longer) month-long struggle with cancer. We still don't know where it originated, but it definitely claimed her life.
Every day is a silent and very tear-filled struggle to remember her and love her and make sure that everything is taken care of now that she's gone. I never imagined I would learn my mother had a life-threatening disease and that she would be gone a month later. The day even, I was told she had less than a week left with us, but I thought I still had more time.
Love your loved ones. For real.
