Random "New" Thing I Just Decided I Like

So, I was on Facebook and saw a picture of sock garters. After a Google image search, I wanted some like these, for some odd reason:

Then I saw these:

They reminded me of something we got to use in JROTC after we were issued BDUs. I remembered them being called garters as well, but we used them to basically simulate tucking our pants in so we wound't actually have to do it and be uncomfortable and slightly unkempt all day. So I looked up pants garters, but found these:

I. LAUGHED. Honestly, something like this could rid us of the problems of improper sagging, although this guy's pants are still lower than I would prefer, if someone does sag. Finally, I went to an online Army Navy store and found what I was thinking about:

These are called blousing garters. I think I'll stick to the first two, but I had an interesting ten minute journey.
