Loooooooooooooooong Night...

So yesterday I had a bit of mess going on. I rented a washer and dryer (hopefully just until I can buy them for myself) and the delivery date was yesterday. I asked the SO to stop by my place on his way home from work to see if it was there so I could cut down on the amount of back and forth trips I would have to make in the evening and he got there around 5 to no washer or dryer.

Call me pissed.

So I'm at work disappointed and a little mad and getting all my curse words together for what I'm going to say to whoever messed up my delivery. I decided to go home instead of the SO's place first and lo and behold, there they are all (used and) in my laundry room. I stick a load in the washer and go to his place to pick up King Patches. We get back and wash some more clothes and I clean up stuff for Mr. Kitty to be comfortable right when the power cuts off.

Call me furious.

I don't even know who to call first. I go outside and see that's its just my apartment and I call the emergency maintenance line to see what's going on. They have an automated system that doesn't list my power out as an emergency, so I call the power company (thinking that maybe they didn't properly switch the power over to my name). They call back and tell me that I have power and I needed to have maintenance deal with the problem and to check the breakers in the apt and at the meter. I'd already tried the one inside and walked around and found the meters on the side of the building. Of course I couldn't tell which one was mine and decided to call maintenance back and act like it was one of their listed emergencies (refrigerator not working was one of their emergencies and really, if my power wasn't working, neither was my fridge, right?) The guy is all telling me that it'll take him a while to get there so I take the SO back home so he can go to bed. Of course, the maintenance guy didn't say THAT far away and calls me right when I pull into the SO's place (which is about 10-15 min away).

Call me frustrated.

He turns it back on from outside somewhere and leaves. I get back, finish my laundry and hook up my tv, router and Wii so I can fall asleep to some netflix at about 4 am.

Call me a mess.

Did NOT want to get up today, but it was nice waking up in my own space and have all the sunlight streaming through all of my 10 windows. Now I wanna go back home and just sit there for a while. In about 3 more hours, I'll be able to ^_^.
