2.) I'm tired of hearing about how your money is going to go to other people. Do you realize that if our tax system was anywhere near effective a lot of the bullshit that happens in this country wouldn't? Just think, if EVERYBODY paid their taxes when they were supposed to we could possibly reap the benefits of better (of free, or both) health care FOR ALL, less crime, a better funded and more effective education system, and who knows what the hell else.
Someone on Facebook brought up that fact that Obama had more support than McCain by people making more than $200,000 annually. Someone else brought up the argument that these really rich people have tax lawyers that find ways to beat the system and whatnot. Okay. So, if you made more than $200,000 and have a tax lawyer keeping your money in your pocket, you're good. If you make $250,000 or less under the Obama tax plan you would pay the same or less taxes, keeping your money (or more) in your pocket. Am I missing where there's a problem?
Besides that, there are people who make so much freaking money they don't know what the hell to do with it. What's wrong with them contributing to the masses? Now, I know that a lot of the government programs have failed in many ways, and that there are tons of people who exploit the hell out of them and do things like rack up more children to rack up more money. So, fix the damn programs. I see nothing wrong with giving some of my millions to people who GENUINELY NEED it. People who ARE trying to better themselves and who ARE working but still don't make quite enough to pay the rent or can do that but can't put enough food on the table. If you still have enough money to buy that fillet mignon and Kobe beef AFTER that Gucci and Chanel bag and that Vivienne Westwood gown with the Prada shoes you just put in your Louis Vuitton luggage, you can put some damn chicken on a struggling family's plate. Stop acting like you NEED that damn money. What are you struggling to do, buy a yacht? Not that I have millions now, but it might happen one day, we got a Black president, anything ACTUALLY is possible. And I would contribute. ESPECIALLY to fixing the problems with those government programs that people often complain about. If they can't be fixed? Get rid of em and start the fuck over. If we end up in another depression it wont be that damn hard to do.
3.) If I hear ONE more person proclaim that Obama is the Anti-Christ I'm going to skip, in a circle around them, and LOUDLY exclaim "SO WHAT!" Honestly. The Anti-Christ? So WHAT? If he is, then we all have cause to have even more faith in the Bible and to repent and ask to be saved, because we're gonna need it, and SOON. If he is, guess what? THERE WAS NOTHING WE COULD DO TO STOP HIM. Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't there certain things that happen in Revelations in certain ways? Aren't these things GOING to happen, no matter what? I'm not saying what he is or isn't. What I'm saying is, damnit if he is I'm WAITIN on the rapture. I'm READY to go! I'd much rather be on that party bus to Heaven than down here afterwards, that's for sure. On top of that, if he is, why are you afraid of it? You should be ready for it too! You should have no doubt that you'll be on that party bus, no fear of what's going to happen, and convince as many people as you can that they need to get Jesus and get themselves ready to go too. The Anti-Christ. If he is, he is, you should have yourself together anyway, since you're following the prophecy that closely. If he's not, you got yourself worked up over nothing. I don't really see a point in doing that myself, at least not when I could've avoided it. I got enough other crap to deal with.
4.)Barack Obama is NOT a terrorist. He TALKS to people damnit. He's trying to FIX foreign relations after Dubya got done acting an ass on tv and calling those kinds of people to action. Besides, if he is and/or hangs out with them, then so do you damnit. ESPECIALLY if you hang out with me or VJB. Not that we are or (knowingly) hang out with others who are, but we got connects. Thasall um sayin. Connects. Okay? Okay.
5.) Socialism. Communism. The ideals that no one is better than anyone else and everyone deserves a piece of the pie. You know, I think that with the proper governing bodies, these ideals might have made something special and great. But people are, by nature, greedy assholes. So they got out of hand. Look, even if Obama was going to try and sneak Socialism and/or Socialist ideals into play, do you all realize that there are not one, but TWO other governing bodies that ensure checks and balances of these kinds of things? I mean really? Just because one states that they want to 'share the wealth' doesn't mean he is going to take YOUR wealth and share it. Can't he just want to give everyone $1000? The hell is wrong with that? I honestly wish they had split up the bailout and given it to us. Think about it. Let's say the government issued $200,000 to every working/tax paying person, like they did with the stimulus checks.
Hold up a minute. WHERE WERE YOUR COMPLAINTS THEN? Did you complain about that extra $600 you spent on a laptop or flat screen tv? I didn't hear ONE.
Anyway, let's just say they did that. What would people do with that kind of money? I don't know about anyone else, but I would pay off some bills, buy some shit, and save the rest and chill on it. Maybe invest it somewhere. Sounds like that would have brought the economy back up to speed. The people with those bad loans would have paid them off, or put some money towards them, people would pay off those predatory credit cards bills, bought some high-end electronic toys (saving Circuit City from tanking), and invested. Sure, a lot of people would have potentially been broke within the next week or two, but somewhere, someone in the economy would have benefited from it. And we would all be better off.
Alright, my rant is over for now. Don't think it wont come back up as needed.
